The amenity products have not been tested on animals. To achieve our sustainability and preservation of biodiversity goals, our amenities are close to 100% biodegradable.
The carefully selected ingredients show no bioaccumulation to protect the fragile ecosystems in which our clients operate their properties.
The range eliminates as much as possible single use plastic packaging and encourage clients to use the refillable options.
Fragrance
The fragrance was formed on the axis of herbaceous resinous African herbs & shrubs.
Heralded for its freshness, depth and warmth. A clean, yet unexpectedness prevails with the inclusion of the rare and precious omumbiri combined with tropical basil and ylang ylang. Omumbiri or Namibian Myrrh has been traditionally used by the Himba of Namibia to make their traditional perfume.
The IRDNC (integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation) has developed a sustainable project selling omumbiri for community upliftment and women empowerment.
African Design
Bogolan means ‘made from mud’ in Bambara. Also known as mud cloth. The technique of dyeing and printing cotton is entirely #organic using leaves & bark as dye - the quintessential West African textile

Social Responsibility
Himba tribes live in the Kunene region, a vast desert land in North West Namibia. The IRDNC (Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation) has developed a sustainable project using Omumbiri for income generation among the Himba to maintain their nomadic life style and culture. By using Omumbiri, Terres d’Afrique is empowering Himba women in Namibia.
